sorry for the lack of posts, its been a crazy last couple of weeks, i'm back in miami for the time being. hopefully i'll be able to post more often now that i have my scanner with me.

so i decided to try something different from my usual work, i thought it would be fun to draw an orc looking monster. i first played around with different head shapes until i found a shape that i liked, which then i developed some more with color.

I thought it would be fun to show my process for this piece. as you can see I first did a quick rough to try and block out the figures. next i tighten the drawing up some more and finally I refined my pencil lines and colored it in p-shop.

this has been a crazy crazy week! I moved from NYC to the North Shore in Mass. this tuesday and now I leave to PA for the annual Highlights illustrators party which I got invited too. Me and Emily are flying back to NYC so we can hitch a ride with someone in Brooklyn who is also going to the party. this should be a fun weekend though, with lots of good food(NOM NOM NOM) and beautiful scenery. Hope everyone is good, have a good weekend!

i'm back!

sorry for the lack of posts, i was away on vacation last week. but now i'm back and it looks like things are going to be pretty hectic for the next few weeks. I'm moving to mass! crazy!yes i know.i'll be moving at the end of sept. plus I have some freelance work I need to get started on, and i also have a workshop at highlights magazine i'll be doing in Pennsylvania. too much happening! anyways, I'll make sure to post whatever doodles i can mustered up. hope everyone is well and getting ready for the fall!
