so i ran into this website called meetup.com last week thru my friend carolita. i recommend checking it out. it's a good way to network and meet new artists. i signed up to 3 meet up groups. this sunday i'm meeting up with the first group called central park sketch, it should be fun, i'm taking my watercolors and a new sketchbook i just got. i also signed up to a figure drawing meet up and another one called old school art. if your looking for groups to sketch with i highly recommend checking it out.

little color sketch i did a while bag in one of my old sketchbooks. i used clear gesso over one of my drawings and went ahead and painted it using acrylics. the gesso gave me this really grainy texture which i used to like.

one of my favorite games growing up in the NES. i'm thinking of doing a piece for the i am 8 bit contest but dont know if i'll have enough time. the deadline is on the 6th. i'm finally moving to brooklyn tomorrow, so it's going to be a bitch. i hate moving, but it's all good , i can't wait to settle down so i can start some painting!
