Do you carry a sketchbook? The best tool is the sketchbook. You'll find it uses unlimited. After completing my BFA degree in drawing, I completed over 50 books in 10 years. So invest in them. I built a site around my sketchbook: www.bestsketchbook.com It's newly released and is open to artists like you wanting to fund projects without working an extra job.
My buddy said he wished he had a dollar for every doodle. I think we all do!
