i'm back!

wow it's been a while since my lats post. i've been brain dead for the past week or so. anyways here are some freelance shirt designs i did for a music label.

recent doodles

so i spent the weekend in chicago and had a great time over there. i got to go to a few museums, and got a chance to see a star wars exhibition at the museum of science and industry. it was great. i got to see R2 and C3PO along with Chew, darth vader and few other notable characters. it was awesome! also the art institute of chicago was great, i got to see a sargent the museum had just aquired that i hadn't seen before. i'll definetly be going back chicago.

so i didn't get enough time to finish the rest of the "big animals in trees" paintings. sucks. i liked how they were coming out and i didn't want to rush it. so i did this lil' painting instead based on something i had drawn in my sketchbook. all three will be in the small works show at the bear and bird gallery in FL. if you are in the area pass by for some good times.

here are two attempts at drawing emily. one with my trusty brush pen, the other with a micron. i'm so used to drawing with the brush pen that it took some time to get used to the micron pen. after wards i went back and filled in certain areas with the brush. all those thin lines were just bugging, i guess that's why i'm addiced to the brush pen.
