yes i realize i've been drawing my girlfriend a lot, but i just can't help myself.

here are a couple of emily drawings i have done over the past couple of days. i would have to say the top one is my favorite one, the rest i am not too crazy about about. it's always fun and at the same time frustrating drawing with a pen because once you put your mark down there is no going back and the pen is not as forgiving as a pencil. but i find it to be challenging, so maybe that's why i enjoy it, i never know what end end result will be, i try to be loose in my mark making but there are times where i stiffen up , much like in the drawing below where i wrote my frustration.

i struggled a lot with this painting, i was really rusty. it took me sometime to get used to the medium again but i do feel this painting was good practice. i'm not completely happy with it but i'm hoping the next one turns out better.

it's been a while since i posted something with color. here is a little doodle i did last night before going to bed.
also, i finally finished the oil painting i previously posted, so i'll be putting it up sometime this week once i photograph it.
