pen drawings

i recently got a new sketchbook, this are just a couple of drawings i've been doing.
it's a nice portable size i can take with me and draw while i wait for the train.
the one on top was done while riding the train, hence the real shaky line, which i thought was kinda cool. it just seems really loose and care free, what do you guys think?

from the ol' sketch bag

drawing i did last night while doodling in my sketchbook.

arboles

this was done while waiting for the train last night, atleast most if it. tree creatures are always fun to draw

so i decided to add some color to the previous sketch, any thoughts?

happy new year!

hope everyone had a wonderful new year's eve. i know i did. :)

plane doodle

i'm back in NY, back to the cold. I had good time in miami. got to see some friends , got to go to sarasota and had lunch with some of my school instructors. it was great. anyways here is drawing i did on the flight back. it was a bit uncomfortable drawing between two people that were so close to me( i was in the middle since i got bitch.) But yeah, i'm looking forward to the coming year, Happy New Year peeps! like my dad always said. no tomes mucho( don't drink too much).

sketch doodle

sorry for the lack of posts lately, the past couple of days have been pretty hectic trying to finish a couple of paintings for my family for chirstmas, so i'll be posting it in a couple of days after the holiday. so i did this drawing on the plane ride back to miami, it feels good been back here. i already cruised in my car with the music blasting, hell yeah. anyways happy holidays!

i got the chance to go to another figure session down in brooklyn, this one was particularly good,i enjoyed it a lot. the cool thing about it was that it was in a bar and they had random prizes thru out the 3hrs. i actually won a shot of tequila for one of my drawings.can't go wrong with that i guess. i'll be posting the rest as soon as i photograph them since they don't fit in my scanner.

ol' sketchbook stuff

po' it up!

here's a little design experiment i wanted to try.

happy halloween!

what it do!

some drawing

i might end up painting this drawing, there's actually more space on top where the feather is falling but the drawing didn't fit on my scanner.

boots

in the train ride home today i noticed there's a lot of women in new york that wear boots, definitly something you dont see too much of in miami. this is a random design i decided to do out the subject.

sorry for the lack of posts for some reason i've had this block, but i'm working on it. i got some ideas for some new paintings i plan on doing soon.

Girls and Devils

black and orange

for a contest over at penelopeillustration.com
i might do another one since i'm not really happy with this one.

new sketchbook!

little painting i did for the cover of my sketchbook.

the head

last night after i got home from work, i saw this small piece of left over wood that was already primed, i didn't wanted it to go to waste , so i decided to paint something as practice.

random painting

problaby the most random thing i have ever painted, the color is a bit off since it had to be photographed since it didn't fit in my scanner.

fuck!

i guess it was bound to happen, i lost my sketchbook last night while waiting for the train to get home last night at 5 in the morning. it's so fucking frustrating! i left it on the bench on 42st and by time i went back to get it it was gone. what upsets me the most is that i just had one page left to finish it. time to move on to the next one i guess.
