sorry for the lack of posts it's been a somewhat hectic week wih work and trying to find an apartment, but it looks like i'll be moving to brooklyn by the end of the month. it's going to be awesome!

yesterday i spent a couple of hours transfering this drawing again. i had started painting this a couple of days ago, but i hated the way it was coming out. anyways i'm going to round two and this is my new color study although it's subject to change during execution.

my good friend chile( he's from chile) just had his baby last week( his wife actually had it) they asked me sometime ago to do something elephant related for the babies room, so i did.

i finally got the chance to go to a figure drawing session. it had been a while, and as always it felt great to draw the figure in a creative environment.theses are just a few of the gestures i did, enventually i'll get to scanning the rest.

i recently got a new sketchbook, this are just a couple of drawings i've been doing.
it's a nice portable size i can take with me and draw while i wait for the train.
the one on top was done while riding the train, hence the real shaky line, which i thought was kinda cool. it just seems really loose and care free, what do you guys think?

i'm back in NY, back to the cold. I had good time in miami. got to see some friends , got to go to sarasota and had lunch with some of my school instructors. it was great. anyways here is drawing i did on the flight back. it was a bit uncomfortable drawing between two people that were so close to me( i was in the middle since i got bitch.) But yeah, i'm looking forward to the coming year, Happy New Year peeps! like my dad always said. no tomes mucho( don't drink too much).
