coming soon? this is something i've recently began working with my roommate. we're discussing the possibility of a picture book. nothing is final yet, i 'd like to push ripple's design more. what do you guys think?

Design's nice---simple! I'm liking the seagulls. I'd incorporate a little more pattern into the sky, the water or Ripple, depending on which element you'd really want to stand out. It'd be nice if you'd chose the sky and Ripple to apply patterns to. That would visually relate Ripple to the sky, connecting the fish to his aspirations...the sky. It might be a dumb idea. Just a long-winded suggestion.
i think you are right in pushing the design of Ripple. He's quite cute how he is but it's a bit too similiar to Nemo in the Golden Book version of his book and similar in style too. On the flip side, i LOVe that you are going to do another book (possibly) because i didn't find out about you until after your other book was already sold and i'd love to buy this one!!

I love the expression on the fish's face, very appealing :)
I agree with Sean, and maybe push the fishes face a little more so hes not so nemoish, but it looks great overall though!
